NudoAdopt Olive Oil

NudoAdopt Olive Oil is offering a part-ownership of an olive tree in return for buying some of the oil it came from.

Nudo supports Italian traditional farming practices on small-scale groves and has pioneered the Adopt an Olive Tree programme for over ten years. What better way can there be to enjoy beautiful olive oil than to part-own the tree it comes from?

NudoAdopt  works directly with small groves in Liguria, Le Marche, Abruzzo and Sicily by giving consumers the opportunity to adopt an olive tree for a year and enjoy three tins of extra virgin oil produced by their tree after the harvest.

This Christmas the adoption is made even sweeter by offering a limited edition handmade ceramic oil cruet designed by Yorkshire artist Michelle Freemantle. The cruet reflects the colours of the Italian countryside; yellow for the sunshine, green for the lush meadows and blue for the sea. It is a thoughtful gift for any lovers of Italian olive oil. A foodie gift that comes with a very special story.

When you become an adoptive parent you’ll receive a NudoAdopt certificate, your oil of course, and even the opportunity to visit your tree.

The team at TripReporter has tasted this oil and can wholeheartedly support its quality. The fact is, we can’t wait to go and visit our tree and give it a hug.

Gift Adoptions start from £72 ($145) including the hand-made pourer, oil and certificate.  Adoption on its own starts from £39 ($79)
