Can it be true these Skechers Cozy Slip-Ins for Women are so comfortable they could almost be slippers. Yes indeed.
I’ve long been an admirer of the Skechers products I’ve reviewed on TripReporter. Whether they are walking shoes or golf shoes, the comfort factor is off the charts. Recently I looked at a range of Skecher Slip-Ins, a new technology using a built-in shoehorn that supports the heel area of the shoe as you slide your foot in so you can press down and it won’t collapse.
In other words, you can slip them on and off without having to tie laces or bend down. Totally hands-free. Remarkably, they turned out to be just as comfortable as the standard range, if not more so if that was even possible.
So, I’m not ashamed to say I am hands-down a fully-fledged member of the Skechers fan club.
Having said that, it is well worth noting this is a company fully committed to its technology and testing its potential in ever more challenging ways.
So this time around we’re road testing the Cozy Slip-Ins range. Two women’s walking products that promise both cozy comfort and easy access. And what’s more I got Annie to test them out for me. So, here is Annie’s unmissable feedback on her Cozy Skechers Slip-Ins for Women.
Skechers Slip-ins: Keepsakes Cozy – Cozy Tall
Cozy-Cozy Tall certainly raised eyebrows for me when I saw they were Slip-Ins. Slip-Ins in high boots? Really?
This obvious scepticism proved to be completely unfounded. They stood very proud without any side flopping, and they have a wide opening, so my feet slipped straight in and with a gentle push down they were on and fully snug.
These are boots engineered for cold and wintry weather with a plush soft wool lining going right down to the toe, and a 3M Scotchgard-treated genuine suede upper giving them water-repellent protection. On top of that, there’s a cushioned warm tech memory foam insole designed to retain my body heat, so with the soft wool lining and the memory foam, I could, in theory, wear them with just leggings or tights and no socks.
The last but crucial bit of tech is in the heel. Skechers heel pillow enveloped my heels keeping them stable and cushioned, while the outsoles are designed to provide stability across various surfaces with built in flexible traction.
So, the proof of the pudding? The Keepsakes Cozy – Cozy Tall boots kept me warm and cozy, my feet were stable with no sliding about. I loved the contemporary look and feel and the material which wiped clean easily. Best of all they were ultra comfortable all the time and slipped off just as easily as they slipped on.
Just as it says on the tin.

Skechers Slip-Ins: Glide-Step – Cozy Fit At Ease
I was keen to find a pair of trainers that looked good for both inside and outdoor wear. And I found these Glide-Step – Cozy Fit At Ease trainers, perfect for just that. They were off-white with pink details and looked really cool.
Glide Step is a catchier phrase for the footwear tech which in Skecher speak is ‘ a specialized articulated geometric midsole designed for a “pillow-soft” landing and explosive, responsive take-off’ which translates as super comfortable walking shoes.
The midsole design invites almost a rocking chair motion to your feet to ease your steps. And, just like the Keepsakes Cozy – Cozy Tall boots above they also have air-cooled memory foam and a heel pillow to keep your heels stable and cushioned.
All good then as far as the tech is concerned. The extra cozy part is the quality air-quilted fabric which is extremely light and velvety to the touch and my feet felt like they were delightfully surrounded by cushions.
An added benefit of the Glide Step – Cozy Fit At Ease is they are machine washable, again perfect for no socks and even though mine are off-white, I would have no problem wearing them in the muddy outdoors too.
There are laces in the shoes even though they are Slip-Ins, but they are just for aesthetic purposes.
For me, their contemporary design makes them an all-rounder: dresses, trousers, and even partying.
Yet another winning shoe from Skechers.
