TripReporter Andy Mossack was interviewed on Annie Othen’s New Year’s Eve morning show on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire for his Andy Mossack 2014 travel predictions.

Needless to say New York and Brazil were obvious favourites but there was also good news too for Britain’s tourism industry.

“With the World Cup coming up Brazil will be very popular next year”. said Andy “it is a spectacular country. There is the Amazon, Rio of course, the carnival in February. But it will be very busy and therefore also expensive. Alternatives would be to try Costa Rica, or Nicaragua or my personal tip Panama. You can get visit two oceans, the Allantic and the Pacific in 45 minutes.”

Andy continued his travel predictions for 2014, highlighting the UK staycation option as having another successful year. “2013 we had the Olympics and UK tourism learned a hell of a lot about upping the standards we off visitors and so I think next year, we will be reaping the benefits of that experience.”

“Let’s also not forget Scotland which is hosting two huge sporting events in 2014, the Commonwealth Games and The Ryder Cup.”

Andy Mossack 2014 travel predictions are based on Andy’s long career in the travel industry. He is the founder and editor of Tripreporter, the luxury consumer travel site where award winning travel writers provide free reviews on destinations, hotels and restaurants only from personal experience.

Andy Mossack also appears on numerous radio and TV shows including BBC radio 5 Live, BBC local radio, BBC Breakfast, BBC World, and Talk Sport. He is perhaps best known for his long running radio travel piece “where in the world is Andy” which goes out on week night Late Show from BBC Leeds.
